ABOUT

Talent….What is it? You know, I’ve tried to define this word in so many ways. Dictionary.com defines it as a capacity for achievement or success; a special supernatural ability or aptitude. The ladder definition is what I like to believe God has placed in all of us!

My new journey of blogging will display the natural talents that people across the nation, and possibly the world, are embracing because they had the faith to step out. From fashion and arts to motivational speaking and volunteering. Each person has dominated in their specific area of God given talent. I know what some of you are thinking…. “Well I don’t have a ‘special’ talent like these listed here”…who said you didn’t? Who says that your small gift cannot bless someone in a small way and that small gift be infectious enough to bless someone else and so on and so on?! To me that makes each story unique and special, and places me in awe of what God can do in each and everyone of us. It’s SOOO exciting to me!!

As said in the parable of talents in Matthew 25:14-30, there were several servant men who were given talents and expected to do something great with the little that they were given or loose each one. “For everyone who has will be given more, and he will have abundance. Who ever does not have, even what he has will be taken from him.” So do you use or lose your talent? Do you capitalize on the smallest idea that you have to impact others and make you and your God smile? What wakes you up in the morning? What idea makes you stay at your desk at lunch? What gives you a pep in your step knowing that you have an event tomorrow that you are excited about? What is it?!

My hope is that this blog will get others to thinking of what their talents may be, and how to be a blessing to others, not to be show-offs! *lol*…So anyone and everyone who is ready to share their story of using their talents to further impact mankind in positive ways according to what God has given you, will be featured right here, and who knows, you may be the next talent showcase! Talent…what’s it to you?

*Your's truely*

I was touched and inspired by your blog. I am currently going through a rough patch n God has laid a heavy heart. I feel so strongly about what I must do but will need to b patient n things will come true or not but all in His time. Talent is God given n to those who don’t accept it n use it to glorify Him will lose it. Well, that’s my opinion! I’m proud n blessed to have seen u blossom through the years. Muah, XOXOXO ;0)

Thank you VERY much. It is rather humbling to know that I am infectious! I’m not a genius writer blogger such as yourself, but this is my goal, to have others realize their successes in life! Simple…. 🙂

Hi Kim. Your words are inspirational; and I agree, no matter how tiny a talent it is gigantic, if properly focused and used to help.

    Be Well
